It has been a bit since I have posted a true typed blog entry so here it is. Hmmmm what should I talk about?
You can probably guess from the photos I have posted that we spent our Christmas break in the Northwest enjoying some skiing and got to hang out with a lot of family. It was great to see everyone, share stories, catch up and enjoy our time with the new little ones.
Since Christmas I have had the pleasure to return to work and had an even greater pleasure watching it snow for almost a week straight. I haven't seen it pile this high, that fast, in quite a while.
On the Owen front, new features include; an increased interest to "walk" with his walker toys or mom or dad's fingers, the ability to wave bye/hello (very very cute), has begun to mimic/repeat some sounds, weighs in just over 18lbs and this past weekend had a collision with the dryer door that lacerated his frenulum (located under his upper lip). This latter episode was more scary than a real problem. It bled like crazy and it took a bit to really assess the severity of the wound. A quick (and I mean quick > 40 min) ER trip assured us that it was indeed no big deal. I hope we can continue to have similar benign medical needs.

PS: I have begun a January 08 photo folder - Enjoy
PSS: Did I mention that Owen now waves bye when I go to work? Very cute.
